CUPERTINO, October 16, 2026 — Apple has introduced HomeView, a $299 smart home display with a 7-inch Liquid Retina screen and upgraded Siri AI, available for pre-order starting today with shipping beginning November 13.
Product Launch Details and Pricing
Apple today introduced Apple HomeView, designed to be central to the home and personal to everyone in it. The device is priced at $299 and features a 7-inch display designed to serve as a central hub for household activities. Pre-orders start today, with availability beginning November 13, according to Apple’s official announcement.
Key Features: Siri AI, Facial Recognition, and Display
HomeView is powered by Apple Intelligence with Siri AI and built with privacy and security at its core. It features a stunning 7-inch Liquid Retina display and recognizes users by their faces, adapting so they can access their personal content in Messages, FaceTime, Calendar, Reminders, and Find My. Apple said its facial recognition technology can identify up to six household members and display personalized apps, notifications and other information for each person.
Privacy and Personalization Capabilities
HomeView features Siri AI, an entirely new version of Siri that’s profoundly more capable and conversational. When paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled device, it can draw on a user’s personal context, such as their Calendar, Messages, and relevant information across their apps, to provide more helpful, personalized responses. The device is designed to sit on a tabletop or be mounted on a wall, with a stainless steel hinge providing a smooth tilt for comfortable viewing.
Availability and EU Limitations
Apple said HomeView will not be available in the European Union because Siri AI is not yet available there. Alongside HomeView, the company announced an updated HomePod mini, a refreshed Apple TV 4K and a collection of smart-home accessories. The HomePod mini 2, priced at $149, will let users perform tasks such as adding events to a family calendar and asking general-knowledge questions.
Availability and Pre-Order Information
The device is available for purchase through Apple’s online store and select retail partners in regions where Siri AI is supported. Customers can reserve their unit now to ensure delivery upon launch.
HomeView is offered in four color finishes: silver, starlight, rose pink, and space gray, each including a matching power cable. The pricing remains fixed at $299 for the base model, with no additional configuration options announced at this time. Availability is limited to markets where Apple Intelligence and Siri AI are fully operational.
Apple confirmed that HomeView will not be released in the European Union due to the current unavailability of Siri AI in that region. This restriction applies to all sales channels, including online and in-store purchases. The company has not provided a timeline for when Siri AI might become available in the EU.
Color Options and Design Details
HomeView is offered in four color finishes: silver, starlight, rose pink, and space gray, each including a matching power cable. The device features a beautiful aluminum design with a 7-inch Liquid Retina display connected to a domed speaker base by a stainless steel hinge that provides a smooth tilt for comfortable viewing on tabletops of any height.
The elegant design and Liquid Retina display seamlessly blend into any space while remaining clearly visible from across the room. It features adaptive display technologies, including True Tone, that react to changing light throughout the day. Automatic brightness adjusts from 500 nits — bright enough to stay vivid and easy to see even in a sunlit room — down to just 0.3 nits, making it ideal for the nightstand.
