Solar Generator

WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 2 — GEYOTO Technology Limited has released field test data for its new N300 Portable Power Station, a compact solar generator the company says is designed for camping and outdoor recreation. The unit, announced via Issuewire.com from Wilmington, Delaware, on September 1, offers a total storage capacity of 256Wh.

In practical terms, GEYOTO says that is enough for 19 complete smartphone recharges, more than five consecutive recharges for an aerial photography drone, or over four hours of sustained operation for a compact camping mini-fan running during peak afternoon heat. The device includes a one-touch SOS alert and an ultra-bright built-in light for safety.

A central focus of the release is the unit’s rapid charging capability. Users can fully recharge the battery from a standard household AC wall outlet in approximately 93 minutes, according to the company. For off-grid use, the system supports solar input with a 140W structural ceiling.

However, GEYOTO notes that when paired with its bundled S100 100W solar panel, real-world input reflects the panel’s native 100W baseline—not the absolute 140W maximum. The company emphasizes transparent data over vague marketing promises.

The S100 panel features a laminated ETFE surface and carries an IP68 weather-resistant rating. That waterproof scope has limits: all connection interfaces, output cords, and the main junction box are excluded from the rating. The panel uses standard MC4 and DC connectivity, which GEYOTO says separates it from low-power direct USB variants.

Underlying the hardware is a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry matrix. GEYOTO states the battery can achieve more than 4,000 complete charging and discharging cycles before significant capacity reduction. This chemistry offers thermal stability and resistance to internal degradation, making the unit cost-effective over multiple years of use.

An internal battery management system monitors individual cell voltages to prevent overcharging and thermal spikes. The N300 also integrates an automatic Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) subsystem.

A transfer switch triggers an instantaneous power shift within 10 milliseconds during a sudden blackout, ensuring connected desktop computers, network routers, and storage drives continue operating without system reboots. The company positions the N300 for both field use and residential backup scenarios.
